Multi-tenant Forum Software

This unreleased forum software was a nostalgic nod to the mid-2000s, blending the familiarity of classic forum interfaces with the power of modern technology. Its core purpose was to empower users to effortlessly create their own free forums, tapping into the essence of hobbyist forum communities.

The project employed a multi-tenant hosting structure, with each forum residing as a subdomain of the main project. This innovative approach ensured that each forum operated independently, maintaining separate logical databases and file structures through an S3 bucket system.

Employing a robust technology stack, this application harnessed the power of Laravel for seamless backend operations, Livewire for dynamic frontend interactions, Alpine.js for enhanced user interface components, and Tailwind CSS for a sleek and responsive design.

Despite remaining unreleased, the forum software boasted an extensive array of features. This included forum structure management, user administration, posting capabilities, reporting and moderation tools, post reactions, live private chat, a dynamic shoutbox, file uploads and attachments, customizable user themes, and various other functionalities.

It was a fun project and while not publicly available at the moment, if you're interested I'd more than happily give a tour.
